Camilla works in a gestural expressive language, using colour to describe light and form. Drawing under pins all her work. She works often on a large scale, making paintings of varying subject matter, still life, figure, portrait and the landscape. The Sussex landscape in which she grew up has had a profound effect on her and her work, as sense of space, air and expansiveness appears in much of her paintings.
Camilla runs The New School of Art an independent art school based in London, more info here: www.thenewschoolart.org
